SPsim's planar Electro Magnetic geometry editor allows multiple arbitrary planar circuits to be analyzed and linked to other circuitry within a schematic for simulation within the linear simulator.
SPsim uses external solver engines to seamlessly analyze the planar structures. Currently Sonnet software's Sonnet EM in the Free, Lite and Professional versions are supported. More solvers will be supported in future. A free version of Sonnet that can work with SPsim can be downloaded at www.sonnetusa.com The geometry editor supports multiple layer editing, Vias, Ports and de-embedding. A full openGL 3D viewer is also provided with zoom and rotate functions.
