SPsim's DC analysis solver engine allows DC controlled components to be included within simulations. The element catalog includes SPICE non-linear elements such as BJT, JFET, MOSFET and DIODE. The parametric sweeps facilities allow multiple sweeps to be defined controlling equation variables, a feature that allows DC controlled components to be swept against any other variable (or frequency sweep).
DC analysis of the IV characteristics of a BJT. SPsim employs "on-demand" simulation technology which means that the user does not have to worry about setting up analysis modes. All solvers are initiated automatically depending on the types of components in a schematic and the measurements called upon to be made. |
